What are the requirements for enrolling in a PhD at La Rochelle Université ?

The order of 25 May 2016 sets the national framework for doctoral training and the procedures leading to the award of the national doctoral degree.

Order of 25 May 2016 :

To apply for a doctorate programme, you must hold a national Master’s degree or another diploma conferring the degree of Master at the end of a course establishing your aptitude for research.

If this condition is not fulfilled, the director of the doctoral school may, by derogation and on the proposal of the council of the doctoral school, accept students who have:

• studied at an equivalent level,
• validated prior professional experience provided for by Article L. 613-5.

Doctoral enrolment is pronounced by the head of the school on the proposal of the director of the doctoral school after consulting the thesis director and the director of laboratory and research unit.
