IMPROVING DIGITAL INFRASTRUCTURES: CONNECTION AND VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENTS Background The COVID-19 pandemic and successive lockdowns have highlighted the benefits of having an agile information system for our higher education institutions. It is essential to have the right resources and to know how to adapt the response to needs, particularly in terms of network and IT resources. In order to make the development of distance learning and blended learning easier, it was necessary to implement a lasting solution for our distance learning service offering, and to give the entire student community access to digital environments identical to those made available to them within the university. Project The aim of the project is to deploy the IT architectures needed to enable learners (students, people unable to attend, workers) to access personalised virtual learning environments adapted to the training they are taking, anywhere and at any time.
